*Product ships in the raw tumbled state. All hard corners are softened, no mill marks are visible, and these are ready for easy finishing.
*8/32 Threads
All threads are Form Tapped.
Formed threads are much stronger then the "standard" cut threads. These threads will hold up better over time, extending the service life of the Machine.
*Coil Holes are Counterbored so that screw heads sit flush to the bottom of the base. This is dependent on the type of screw used, but most standard screws sit flush.
*Rear Binder Hole Left Un-Drilled so these bases have versatile geometry options.
-Crosshairs are lightly engraved showing our stock rear binder location, but centerline is also lightly engraved all the way to the rear of the base. This allows for a longer geometry to be chosen on the fly.
-Build standard or long geometry machines from the same base.
*Vises are slightly larger than standard allowing for customization if desired.
Can be built as is for a weight forward design.
Also can be reshaped, machined down, etc.....There's plenty of meat to modify shape.
*Counterbored Chuck Screw Hole made to fit a standard 3/8" Washer.
*Relieved vise slit allowing for easy clamping and long service life.
*Area that meets the Sideplate is left extra wide allowing any Sideplate to be used.
